Not recommended for babies and not on the child’s face

Keratosis Pilaris is a dominant inherited condition that generally affects the upper arms and face. It is related to eczema, hay fever, croup and bronchitis.

Dead skin cells at the openings of oil glands and hair follicles do not peel off, resulting in rough areas.

Sun exposure may improve the condition. For older children applying Creme Classique’s Day/Night Alpha Moisturiser Plus twice daily can also improve the condition. The Alpha Moisturiser Plus can burn, so we suggest you test it on a small area first. Once the condition has improved, you can move to applying the Alpha Moisturiser Plus once a day.

Keratosis Pilaris can be a lifelong tendency but is usually outgrown on the face between 12 and 19 years old.
