Hi, My child have acne scars, red and slightly indented. Will it go away? Which is the best product to help with this? Still some pimples but not as bad as it used to be. If we use cleanser, then beta hydroxyl gel then evening mask and then blemish lotion or blemish repair is it not too much to put on all at once? How should I use these products for most effective results?
It is always advised to start with a skin routine with the early onset of acne. All the products listed are correct, but preferably avoid the Blemish Repair. That is more directed at pigmentation and sunspots. One would end the routine with a moisturiser and the Safari SPF40 Sunscreen will be both a day and night moisturiser as well as a sunscreen. It does not block pores or cause further acne. The routine would be as follows: (in this order and 2 x p.d.)
Cleanser, only product to rinse off.
Beta Hydroxy Gel, a few drops 2 x p.d.
Blemish Lotion, apply on all the affected areas, avoid eye contact.
Evening Mask, Can be applied on all areas with acne and left on, a few nights per week.
Safari SPF40 Sunscreen becomes the day and night moisturiser as well as sunscreen.
Further recommendation would be to see a Dermatologist about treatment for the scarring.
